It's been an incredible journey—countless hours of research, development, and innovation—all leading up to this moment!
We’re excited to share that our planned platform update has been successfully completed!
This update enhances performance, security, and overall user experience to ensure a seamless booking process for both guests and hosts.
If you or your guests have any questions or encounter any issues, the best approach to get immediate support is by submitting a support ticket immediately so our team can track and respond promptly. Your feedback helps us continue to improve CellarPass for everyone. And as always, the more details you provide in your support ticket request, the quicker we can attempt replicate the issue, investigate and respond.
Just in Case...
TablePro, Guest Link Pro and the admin panel apps are the perfect backup in case guests are having issues booking reservations through your website or ours. Both apps were updated in February and will not be effected by this platform update.
You can use these apps to book, modify, cancel and reschedule reservations while we determine the cause of the issue and release a fix.
What This Update Means for You?With our new website and booking widgets, there's a strong probability you will need to update any links you have from your website to CellarPass:
1. We recommend reviewing your new Business Page on our beta website.
2. Booking Widget code used on your website will need to be replacedReplacing the CellarPass widget code should be fairly easy for all of our clients. However, if you need assistance with replacing the widget code on your website, now would be a good time to schedule some time to connect with one of our team members to assist.
Please submit a ticket for availability after 3/10. Please include details as to which brand, how many pages need to be worked on and what platform your website is running on.
You will have until 4/1/25 to replace you the v3 widget before it goes offline, meaning guests will no longer be able to book from your website.
3. Any links to your Business page on CellarPass.com will need to be updated immediately due to a URL structure change. Any existing URLs that contain your v3 business page URL will fail. You can also find this updated link structure in the Widget (v4 beta).4. Any links associated to Reservation-based Discount Code URLs will also need to be updated. This is due to the Business page URL structure changes. Updated URLs are available via the Discounts menu when editing Experiences.
5. Any links associated to Reservation-based Access Code URLs will also need to be updated. This is due to the Business page URL structure changes. This new URL will be updated in the admin panel on launch day. Updated URLs are available via the Access Codes menu when editing Experiences.
6. Any links to Ticketed Events DO NOT need to be updated as there are no URL structure changes required with this launch.
7. The Admin Panel was not be effected with this upgrade as we have already started using a majority of the next generation code, networks and related services starting in November 2024.Request for Support
With every new website, despite months and months of testing, some scenario or issue will come up and we want to know about it. As soon as you find an issue, please report with plenty of details so that our team can recreate it. Please note that the more detail you provide in your ticket, the quicker we can investigate and replicate the issue.Note that our support will be prioritized based on the level of impact to the system, starting with the ability for your guests to be able to book and purchase tickets.
Thanks again for all your patience and support as this was a massive undertaking, but with this investment, we have a great new foundation to build upon as we already have some other exciting projects in the works.
Cheers,
