With over 20 years of experience building complex SaaS, eCommerce, CRM, and guest management systems, Jonathan has a proven track record of creating scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
At CellarPass, Jonathan oversees cross-functional teams across multiple offices, delivering enterprise-grade applications for reservations, ticketing, subscription services, and frictionless commerce. He has designed robust payment systems integrating providers such as Stripe and Braintree, implemented automated billing and subscription workflows, and ensured global compliance with PCI, GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations. His expertise includes multi-region tax and VAT systems, enabling accurate and reliable transactions across the U.S. and EU markets.
Jonathan is recognized for pioneering innovations that transformed the wine and hospitality industry, including the first-ever reservations platform that kept wineries and tasting rooms operational during COVID-19, and industry-first features such as tokenized multi-card payments that drove measurable increases in transaction volume and repeat bookings.
Prior to CellarPass, Jonathan held senior technology and product leadership roles at Synergy Commerce and Submerce, building and scaling POS, eCommerce, and CRM platforms for the hospitality and wine industries. He began his career at Bechtel Corporation, producing corporate communications, marketing, and real-time VR walkthroughs for large-scale global construction projects. Jonathan also pioneered digital production for CBS Sports and NBCOlympics.com, including the first-ever fully digital Olympic broadcast, and served as an embedded journalist for the Associated Press during the Iraq War.
