Jonathan Elliman is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of CellarPass, where he leads the development of innovative technology solutions for the wine and hospitality industry. Jonathan began his career at Apple, working on early editions of QTVR, developing virtual reality systems at Silicon Graphics, and serving as an early beta tester of Final Cut.
With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of software architecture, digital media, and enterprise applications, Jonathan has built a career pioneering scalable, cloud-based DTC and guest management platforms that transform complex workflows into seamless user experiences. He has a proven track record of mentoring and scaling high-performing engineering teams, fostering inclusive cultures that drive innovation and technical excellence.
At CellarPass, Jonathan conceived and led the development of the first guest management app for wineries, overseeing cross-functional teams of backend, UI/UX, and mobile developers. He designed automated content ingestion pipelines, real-time analytics systems, and enterprise-grade platforms that enable interactive experiences and operational efficiency for wineries and tasting rooms.
Jonathan’s early career in digital broadcast and live sports production, including work with CBS Sports, NBCOlympics.com, and the America’s Cup, honed his expertise in real-time streaming, interactive analytics, and large-scale system architecture. His extensive experience in filming and producing documentaries has taken him from being an embedded journalist in Iraq to Africa and other “resort-like” destinations worldwide.
