Job description

CellarPass, a leading technology company in the wine and hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the social media strategy for our flagship marketing program, The Vault. The Vault is an exclusive wine club that offers premium wines to members from boutique wineries around the world.


  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for The Vault marketing program, including creating and curating engaging content, planning and scheduling posts, and managing social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
  2. Content Creation: Create high-quality and engaging content, including posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets, for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others, that align with The Vault's brand voice, tone, and overall marketing goals.
  3. Social Media Management: Manage and maintain The Vault's social media accounts, including monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and reviews, analyzing social media performance metrics, and providing regular reports to the marketing team to inform decision-making and optimize social media strategies.
  4. Influencer and Partnership Collaborations: Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, wine bloggers, and partners to expand The Vault's reach, increase engagement, and build brand advocacy through social media collaborations and partnerships.
  5. Campaigns and Promotions: Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to support The Vault's marketing initiatives, including wine releases, events, promotions, and other marketing campaigns, and track the performance of campaigns to measure their effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  6. Social Media Advertising: Develop and implement paid social media advertising campaigns, including creating ad creatives, setting up ad campaigns, managing budgets, and monitoring performance, to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for The Vault.
  7. Social Listening and Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies, and monitor social media conversations, trends, and mentions related to The Vault and the wine industry to identify opportunities for engagement, content creation, and brand reputation management.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management, preferably in the wine, hospitality, or luxury consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and use data to drive decision-making and optimize social media strategies.
  • Experience in planning and executing social media campaigns, including influencer collaborations and paid social media advertising.
  • Familiarity with wine industry and wine club marketing is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for wine, food, and hospitality, with an understanding of wine club and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing.
